Codecta builds custom software, products and platforms for clients across Europe and the United States. We work as one team across Sarajevo, Graz and Irvine — the model predates everyone calling it distributed.
We started from a straightforward belief: good engineering happens where the people are, not where the head office is. That is why the company has been spread across three countries almost from the beginning, and why clients deal with the engineers doing the work rather than an account layer above them.
The work is long-horizon. Several of our client relationships have outlasted the technology they started on, and two of our own products grew out of them. That shapes how we build — for the version of the system that still has to work in five years, not the one that demos on Friday.
